Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has during his inaugural speech said fuel subsidy has been removed automatically.
President Tinubu said fuel subsidy was removed from the 2023 budget, signifying its end.
He said: ” Unfortunately, fuel subsidy is not in the budget. It means fuel subsidy is gone. We will use that money for other development projects.”
