The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has inaugurated members of the caretaker committee of the party in Ogun state.
The party made this announcement on Saturday.
The party made this disclosure via a letter addressed to the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.
NNPP’s letter addressed to INEC was signed by the Chairman of Interim Caretaker Committee of the party in the state, Prince Ibrahim Adekunle.
Prince Adekunle had earlier been inaugurated as the Chairman of the caretaker committee of the party.
The inauguration of Adekunke followed the expulsion of the former chairman of the party, Olapisi Oginni.
Oginni, was expelled from the party over allegations of anti-party activities.
The party has said that it has inaugurated other members of the caretaker committee.
The members according to the letter addressed to INEC are to work with Adekunle.
Adekunle in the letter explained that Comrade Afuye Oluwatoyin has been inaugurated as Acting Secretary while Comrade Olowu Omokehinde Olayemi has been inaugurated as Acting Publicity Secretary.
Others are member of the caretaker committee included Comrade Oyegbemi Omokehinde who had been inaugurated as acting Youth Leader, Shefiu Musa who has been inaugurated as acting Treasurer, Hon. Foluke Precious Bagbansoro as acting Women Leader and Mrs Riskat Oloyede as acting Financial Secretary.
According to the letter, the remaining members are; Taofeek Adegboyega who has been inaugurated as acting Organizing Secretary and Akindele Micheal who has been inaugurated as acting Welfare Secretary.
