Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci, Monday evening set a new standard for the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours.
Hilda had earlier cancelled out the record set by Lata Tondon, an Indian chef, in 2019.
Lata Tondon cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds while setting the previous record.
However, Hilda set a new record at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.
She cooked for 100 hours to set the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours by an individual.
Baci kicked off her cooking marathon challenge on Friday at the Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State.
