It was a bad day for Zenith bank’s customers who woke up on Wednesday morning to the challenge of a tough network when both the internet and mobile network of the bank were completely shut down.
Checks by AFRIPOST showed that the banking app was completely down. On the internet banking app, the query returned showed that the host was completely down.
Effort to reach the bank amid public outcries failed until late in the evening of Wednesday when the bank released a statement confirming that there was a fire incident in its facility storage in Lagos.
It confirmed in the statement that banking services were being restored even though the incident resulted in a power outage.
