NECO reschedules 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations to June 3rd

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the rescheduling of the 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE) to Saturday 3rd June 2023. The exam, which is conducted for admission into Federal Unity Colleges, was previously scheduled for Saturday 29th April, 2023

In a press statement issued by Azeez Sani, the head of the information and public relations division, the examination was postponed to allow states with low registration of candidates to register their candidates for the examination. This move is aimed at ensuring that all states have equal opportunities to participate in the examination.

Candidates are urged to take note of the new date and continue their registration for the examination, as registration will remain open until the new examination date. The rescheduling of the examination provides candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders with ample time to prepare for the examination.

NECO’s decision to reschedule the examination demonstrates its commitment to ensuring that all candidates have a fair and equal opportunity to participate in the examination. The new date of the examination will provide states with low registration numbers an opportunity to register their candidates and participate in the examination.
