Air Peace resumes operations with weekly flights from Lagos, Abuja in Makurdi Airport

Air Peace airline has announced the resumption of its flight operations to Makurdi Airport, Benue state, after suspending operation in 2021. The airline relaunched its flights on Monday, April 17th, 2023, connecting the city to Lagos and Abuja three days a week on the Embraer 145 aircraft.

According to the airline’s spokesman, Stanley Olisa, the relaunch flight was welcomed at the Makurdi Airport with a ceremonial water salute, marking a comeback of the airline to Benue State. The ground operations manager of Air Peace, Ayodeji Adeyemi, expressed his gratitude to all key aviation players and the Benue State Government for their support in ensuring the airline’s return to Makurdi.

Air Peace is one of the largest airlines in Nigeria, boasting 20 domestic routes, seven regional and four international destinations. The airline has a growing fleet of 37 aircraft, including five brand new Embraer 195-E2s, with prospects for more acquisitions.
