Following Saturday’s supplementary elections in certain polling units, Idris Nasiru, a candidate representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged as the winner of the Kebbi State governorship election.
The Returning Officer declared Nasiru as the winner on Sunday afternoon after he garnered 409,225 votes, defeating his closest opponent, Bande Aminu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 360,940 votes.
