Renowned Nigerian rappers, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz and lyricist, Vector have in a new video made caricature of the 2023 election.
In a collaboration effort titled ‘Yakubu,’ the bahdguy crooner and Vector, referred to one Mr. Yakubu as a fraudster, expressing that the 2023 election was marred by violence, result mutilation and suppression of voters amid police inaction.
In the combined lyrics of English and Yoruba’ the musical stars referred to the election as a sham, lampooning different actors that participated in the exercise as well as the main umpires.
Recall that the 2023 election has been termed by most analysts as the worst ever in the history of the country.
Due to the question on its credibility, top candidates, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and the LP’s Peter Obi have dragged INEC and the APC to court.
