The State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Benue State has suspended the Igyorov Ward Exco of the party in Gboko local government area with immediate effect.
The letter signed by 13 members of working committee cited the lingering crisis in ghe ward as the reason for the suspension of the executive.
The suspension which is to last for a period of one month is coming after the sack of Ayu by the same ward.
Kashi Philip, the Ward Chairman, and Mr. Vangeryina Dooyum, Ward Secretary had earlier argued during their action against Ayu that he was involved in anti-party activities.
Their action also followed the just concluded general elections where the former national Chairman lost in his ward.
