Former Governor and immediate past minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has said that nothing good will come out of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, under professor Mahmood Yakubu as he was re-appointed by a member of Tinubu’s camp.
Amaechi who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, seems to have fallen apart with his party at the centre since the presidential primaries.
Speaking in Rivers during the Saturday’s election, Amaechi said APC and other political parties in the state were not only contesting against the PDP, but also against the police and the INEC.
He said that some of them who rejected the reappointment of the INEC boss were facing a tough battle.
He also alleged that Mahmood worked under Wike as executive secretary of Tetfund, hence the battle was total against the APC in the state.
