Nigeria decides: Massive turnout in Abuja amid sun, heavy downpour

Must read

Residents of Abuja, the nation’s capital on Saturday trooped out to cast their votes in the ongoing presidential and national assembly elections holding across the country.

Afripost visited some polling units located in the nation’s capital, including Kubwa, Gwarinpa, Bwari, Ushafa, Dawaki and a host others and noticed a massive turnout.

Even though the exercise in the nation’s capital appears seamless, many people found it difficult locating their names on the list pasted by INEC officials.

INEC officials later announced that not seeing one’s name on the list was not a problem so long as the BVAS could identify one’s face.

As at the time of filling this report, counting had started already.

Details shortly…
