Abia Guber:  AA candidate Onyekwere restates resolve to place state highest developmental pedestal

The Gubernatorial candidate of the Action Alliance in Abia State, Onyekwere Akym Uche (OAU), has reiterated his commitment to lead the state to prosperity under the fear of God.

He spoke when he met with people of Ikwuano/Umuahia extraction in the state at an event which took place recently at Abia Hotels and Park in Umuahia north local government area of Abia State.

Onyekwere who used the medium to reel out some of his developmental agenda for Abia when elected as the Governor come March 2023, promised indigenes of the Ikwuano, Umuahia north and Umuahia south local government areas, pledged to tackle erosion menace hitting the areas badly by collaborating with the presidency and Ecological Funds Office to stem the worsening erosion ravaging the areas.

The eminent Abia-born technocrat also pledged to ensure the building of durable and quality road Infrastructure with drainages which will be constructed within one year of his inauguration if given the chance to become governor of Abia State this year.

“I will engender construction of primary health care centers, remodeling and construction of institutions of learning, job creation and capital human development for the youths are topmost in his developmental agenda for the state,” he said.

Onyekwere also said the era of insecurity witnessed in some areas in Abia State will be a thing of the past when elected as the state governor and revealed that he will engage the unemployed Youths who are causing nuisance in Abia State creatively.

He expressed profound appreciation to the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia for their unalloyed supports and massive show of love toward his governorship bid.

However during the occasion, the AA Governorship standard-bearer, Onyekwere Akym Uche flanked by the State Chairman of the party, Chief Tony Ojih, Director General of his campaign organization, Sir Emmanuel Emafor (Suleiman), and rest of other critical party stakeholders, welcomed a former special assistant to the deputy governor of Abia state, Henry Nkem, and thousands of members from ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and All Progressives Congress (APC).
