Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday show up before the House of Representatives Committee, investigating the Naira swap exercise.
The CBN boss also gave reasons he failed to appear earlier than now.
The Committee and delegation of the CBN are meeting at the National Assembly currently.
The meeting which started at about 12:05 pm followed a one-hour behind closed doors.
At the commencement of the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee, Ado Doguwa said the CBN Governor presented reasons he missed previous invitations.
