2023: APC senatorial candidate, Sam Onuigbo promises Abia electorates on responsive governance

Ahead of the general elections this year, the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Abia central district seat, Hon Sam Onuigbo, has reminded people of Ohuhu clan in umuahia north local government area on the collective duty to change pattern of governance in the state.
He called on the electorates in Ohuhu community to ensure their votes count so as to enthrone purposeful and responsive governance in oder to improve on their welfare, and enhance economic and Infrastructural development.
Onuigbo who also doubled as the current member representing ikwuano/umuahia federal constituency at the house of representatives Abuja, spoke during a reception held in his honour which took place at Oriendu Ekeoba residence of a prominent Abia politician, Engr. Prince Ebere Okeuhie in umuahia, the state capital recently.
The frontline Abia central senatorial candidate of the APC, insisted that Abia electorates cannot continue with a small group of people seizing government and developing their stomach Infrastructure, expressing joy that Nigerian citizens are now resolved not to cast their votes along political party backgrounds, but will rally-round and vote for individuals with the needed capacity, expertises and good developmental agendas whom they can hold accountable.
“We did a lot with the electoral act 2022, and i’m happy to have served on the joint technical committee that produced it.
“And our focus is to return power to the people, and alot of people are excited about it,”the federal lawmaker added.
While tasking the Ohuhu umuahia constituents on rightful voting in the upcoming February and march 2023 elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abia, and many other states in the federation,  Onuigbo reassured to work hard towards ensuring dividends of democracy are brought to every doorsteps of the people when voted into the senate chamber of the national assembly.
His words: “I have unfinished project here in Ohuhu clan, and by the grace of God, when i am elected as the senator representing Abia central senatorial district, i will work hard to ensure that this very important project is successfully executed.
“In addition, i will work hard to facilitate many more projects to this area, as parts of the dividends of democracy”.
He therefore, expressed his immense appreciation to people of Ohuhu clan for according him a warm reception, describing them as enlightened people who should be given respect they deserve, having produced the late Premier of Old Eastern Region, Dr. M. I Okpara.
“You cannot buy experience, and you have produced great people whose achievements formed the basis of their recognition.
“These are honours earned, and not honours purchased, “Onuigbo also added.
Earlier in their respective speeches, the host, Sir Victor Okeuhie and the President General of Amaogwugwu, Mr Emeka Chukwuma, welcomed Rep. Sam Onuigbo, and commended him for his efforts in attracting a Federal Secretariat in Abia State.
They reaffirmed the continuous and unshaken support of the people of Ohuhu clan as he takes representation to the next level.
Words: “This shows that while we might not be aware, he’s always struggling to ensure that Abia State and his Constituency gets their due share of the dividends of democracy.
“We have heard about your travails. You fought and you conquered, and you are presently the candidates of the All Progressives Congress for Abia Central senatorial district.
“You do not fail an exam before you enter an exam hall. Since you have entered the exam hall, we will continue to pray and work fervently for your success, which by extension is our success”.
