Balami gets another appointment as Obi’s campaign leader

Must read

The National Chairman of Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure, has appointed Engr. Isaac Balami as the Senior Special Adviser on Presidential Campaign Matters, Fundraising and Grassroot Mobilization.

Balami, the Deputy National Campaign Manager of the Obi/Datti presidential campaign organization adds another feather as a front runner of the Labour Party’s quest to produce the next President of Nigeria.

In the letter signed by the Labour Party National Chairman, Abure said Balami’s well deserved appointment is based on his knowledge, experience and personal qualities of hard work in the Party’s quest to win the 2023 Presidential election.

Recall that Balami, a former Nigerian Pilots President and a former Arewa Youth President, was rumored to be in line to succeed the former Director General of the campaign, Dr. Doyin Okupe, who voluntarily resigned last month but Balami however condemned the report and asked that the public disregard it.

Balami on his remark while accepting the letter for his additional role in the campaign said he’s glad to be working closely with the chairman of the Party because he knows that Labour Party will deliver a new Nigeria and Nigerians are rooting for Peter Obi and the Party to lead the country from 2023. He thanked the Chairman and everyone who is working hard behind the scenes to ensure that a credible government pilots the affairs of the nation come February 2023. He said he sees this as a recognition of what the young people, especially the vibrant support groups are doing. He added that the new office is a challenge to every young Nigerian to brace up and enthrone the Obi/Datti mandate.
