Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers Wednesday morning stormed Ushafa community in Bwari Area Council, killing a man and abducting his entire family.
AFRIPOST gathered that the incident happened behind the LGEA Primary School close to the popular Going-Park.
The man simply identified as Mr Adegoke was said to have allegedly struggled with the gun-wielding kidnappers when his house was invaded around 12am.
The kidnappers, after killing him reportedly left with his wife and a cousin.
Details of the incident have remained sketchy but a source close to the victim said there is apprehension around the area following the incident.
The Divisional Police Officer of the Bwari Area Council, CSP Charles Orisakwe declined comment on the incident, referring our correspondent to the command’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Josephine Adeh.
When our correspondent argued that the incident happened in his jurisdiction, hence he could drop a comment on it, he insisted on following protocols as he had served the force for years and knows what to do professionally at every point.
When AFRIPOST contacted Adeh for confirmation, she pleaded to revert to our reporter around 3pm as she was engaged in a serious official assignment.
