A 50-year-old woman, Amina Guguwa, who allegedly killed her co-wife during a fight in Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State has been arrested, the Nation reports.
Police spokesman, Ahmed Wakil, said Mrs Guguwa, of Miya Village, strangled her co-wife, Amina Koli, 60, on January 1.
“Amina Guguwa, the suspect, criminally used force on the victim by strangling her neck tightly and as a result, she died on the spot.
“On receiving the report, a team of detectives was drafted and rushed to the scene.
“They evacuated the victim to the casual Hospital, Ganjuwa for a post-mortem examination, where she was certified dead by a medical doctor.”
