The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the appointment of Mrs Christy Uba as its new acting Director-General.
Until her appointment, Uba was Director, Information and Communications Technology with scheme.
President Muhammadu Buhari approved the removal and immediate replacement of the Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah on 17 November, 2022.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, “Uba is to oversee NYSC pending the appointment of substantive Director General.
“The most senior director in the scheme has taken over the leadership of the corps in the capacity of overseer, pending the appointment of a substantive Director General by Mr. President”, Megwa said.
