Medical Director of Hope and Maternity Hospital, Dr Alex Terkimbir Igyemwase and his son have been abducted by suspected kidnappers in Zakibiam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
The son was, however, reportedly released unhurt by their abductors the same night.
A family source who confirmed to the Nation Newspaper said the incident occurred around 8pm on Tuesday.
“He was abducted at his residence opposite NKST Secondary School Zakibiam, alongside his son, who was later released unhurt,” the family member said.
The abductors are yet to contact his family members as at the time of filing this report.
The Divisional Police Office in Ukum Local Government area confirmed that the matter has been reported.
