The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Gboyega Aribisogan has been impeached and suspended indefinitely.
A new Speaker has consequently emerged. Olubunmi Adelugba has now taken over in place of the impeached Speaker.
The Speaker was impeached by seventeen of the twenty-five members of the Assembly.
