‘Las Las’ Amaechi, Wike will ‘chop’ breakfast together – Princewill hints

Must read

A former Rivers State Governorship candidate, and a close ally of Rotimi Amaechi, Prince Tonye Princewill, who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said that the current fight between former Minister, Rotimi Amaechi and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike is resolvable.

In an exclusive chat with the Kalabari prince, he told AFRIPOST that both politicians are from Ikwerre and that when they return home, they will eat breakfast together.

Responding to AFRIPOST’s question on whether the matter is not resolvable, Princewiil said:

“It’s resolvable. They are two boxers who have been sparring without breaking a sweat or hurting each other.

“That means there is still love there. Also, they are two brothers. From Ikwerre. Very soon both will be out of office. Let’s see what happens when the cameras are turned off.

“ Las Las they will chop breakfast together.”

Speaking on his next choice of a political party, Princewill said going back to Labour Party was not an option for now. He suggested an independent candidate option to the National Assembly as the party’s structure is not working in Nigeria at the moment.

He said: “ No need. I have said for now, that I don’t need to be a member of a political party to play politics. I will only join a brand that I can vouch for and since I’m not contesting for any office, there is no rush to vouch for one. Let the National Assembly please look into independent candidates. The party structures are not good enough to be the only option.”
