The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has notified its customers of 12 hours power outage in some parts of Abuja communities on Thursday.
The management said the outage that will last between 7am to 6pm on Thursday, 10th November 2022 is due to a scheduled maintenance on 132KV transformer at Katampe Transmission Substation.
The affected areas include Kubwa, Deidei, Bwari, Gbazango, kagini, FO1, Dutse Alhaji, Dutse Makaranta, Parts of Gwarimpa, Charly Boy and environs.
The Public Notice read: “The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) wishes to inform its esteemed customers residing in Kubwa, Deidei, Bwari, Gbazango, kagini, FO1, Dutse Alhaji, Dutse Makaranta, Parts of Gwarimpa, Charly Boy and environs that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will be carrying out a maintenance exercise on a 132KV transformer at Katampe Transmission Substation on Thursday, 10th November 2022 from 7am to 6pm.
“While we regret the inconvenience caused, please be assured that it is intended to ensure better service delivery.”
