I have failed as Education Minister — Adamu Adamu admits

Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, on Thursday, admitted failure in office as the nation’s education boss.

Adamu regreted his inability to solve several challenges he ought to have solved despite being the longest serving Minister of Education.

The Minister highlighted some key issues he was unable to tackle as a minister to include out-of-school children which has increased during his time in office to challenges of ASUU and other challenges bedeviling the tertiary education system.

He lamented that needed solution eluded him.

The Minister who spoke at the 66th National Council on Education (NCE) in Abuja, on Thursday, also arued that the states ministries of education added to the other factors that led to his failure as a Minister.
