There is tension in Abuja as contractors that supplied COVID-19 medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) have taken over major streets in protest against the partial payment of money owed them since 2019.
The protesters have also blocked the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from getting into the secretariat.
