Doren Hospital that recorded the last moment of late BBNaija star, Rico Swavey has denied any wrongdoing following a video that went viral on the recording of the accident victim by some staff.
In a statement of clarification, the hospital also disclosed that Rico’s accident could have resulted from excess alcohol as he was brought in drunk.
The hospital noted that although Rico Swavey was admitted into the emergency care unit of the hospital, medical staff administered first aid, and the good Samaritans who brought him in were told that his condition was serious and would urgent neurosurgeon review.
The hospital further said it immediately referred the victim to Evercare Hospital in Lekki.
The statement said a detailed referral letter was written and given to the relations, but he was reluctant to receive the letter until after much persuasion.
It, howver, admitted that before leaving the hospital, one Mrs. Ify Helen Eze and a Good Samaritan who brought in the victim decided to make a video to exonerate themselves from being implicated as being responsible for the patient’s condition.
