Nasarawa State Assemblyman Mohammed Omadefu has called for the re-election Gov. Abdullahi Sule in 2023 to consolidate on the gains of first term.
Omadefu, member representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, also drummed support for other APC candidates to succeed in the general elections.
He made the call on Thursday while playing host to a group, “Turaki Frontier for Engr. AA Sule/Akabe 2023”, in Lafia.
Omadefu, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Information, said that the governor has done well in almost all sectors of the economy.
“This include education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, youths and women empowerment, among others.
“And these projects have direct bearing on the lives of our people and for us to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy beyond 2023, let’s all support His Excellency to succeed,” he said.
Omadefu appreciated the group for the visit and urged them to embark on intensive campaign to all nook and cranny to ensure the re-election of Sule and his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, among other APC candidates.
He assured the group of his support to enable them succeed.
The lawmaker also urged his constituents to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live peacefully with one another.
Earlier, Mr Abdulrasheed Ismaila, the Chairman of the group, said they came together to seek all APC flagbeaers.
“This group was formed to mobilise support for the re-election of Engr. A A Sule, Dr Akabe and all APC candidates come 2023,” he declared. (NAN)
