PDP campaign flag-off: How supporters chanted Obi’s song in half-empty stadium [VIDEO]

Videos of an empty stadium and Peter Obi’s campaign song that rented the air during the PDP campaign flag-off at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo have flooded social media. 

A Tweet from an account that claims to be at the event revealed an empty stadium when Atiku stormed the stadium in a long convoy. 

The musician leading the song to welcome the former vice president to the event suddenly jumped into a popular Peter Obi’s campaign song – ‘Obi kererenke.’

According to the Twitter handle @Manny_udo_jr, he was at the stadium to monitor activities in order to put the record straight in case of any kind of manipulation. He said: “Don’t be deceived by Mikano boys #AkwaIbomIsPDP. Am live at the stadium. A lot of empty seats. Worse is, we and the band were chanting “Obi kerere nke” While Atiku was being driven around the stadium.”

The post was greeted with reactions from both supporters of Obi and Atiku. While some claimed it was an old video, others showed proof that it was the Uyo flag-off campaign.
