Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate has returned to Nigeria after a few weeks stay in the United Kingdom.
Tinubu who was rumoured to be critically ill returned on Thursday evening.
A purported photo of a sickly Tinubu receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital abroad had been leaked to the press at the weekend, but Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s presidential campaign spokesman, dismissed the photo, saying it was fake.
On Monday, Tinubu posted a video of himself working out allegedly from his house in the United Kingdom.
He wrote: “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
