Bello swears-in four High and Sharia courts judges in Niger

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has sworn-in two High Court Judges and two Khadis of Shariah Court of Appeal describing the election as a well deserved appointments.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Council Chamber, Government House, Minna.

He reminded the new Judges of the huge task ahead of them and the need to use their offices for the benefit of the state and country at large.

The Governor also lamented over the inadequate number of Judges in the State which he observed is not healthy, adding that the new addition  would reduce the work load on the judges in the state.

He appluaded the efforts of the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Halima Abdulmalik in ensuring the appointments of the Judges.

Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn Judges and Khadis, Justice Aisha Wodu Bawa assured that they will continue to do their best in serving the course of justice, emphasising that dedication, hard work and patience pays.

She appreciated the Governor, the Chief Judge of the state and the entire judiciary for their contributions, interest and commitment to the judicial system of the state.
