The simplicity, the energy, and the vibes of Nollywood stars at the media parley with the most talked about Dubai Girls almost got the mouth of every journalist perpetually agape.
The scintillating entrance of Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, and Ufoma McDermott at the 2022 Dubai Girls event holding in the beautiful city of Dubai will for sure linger. Beautifully dressed and dancing majestically to the podium for the interactive session, the Dubai Girls wowed the journalists who had initially expected less.
With an interaction lasting for about 2 hours, so much was demystified. The discussion centered around how nature was converted to suit the purpose of life. It was about a Dubai with so many possibilities.
The Nollywood stars disclosed to the visiting journalists how the idea of the Dubai Girls was birthed and how consistent they kept knocking at the doors of the Department of Tourism to enable them to break open the opportunities for both Dubai and Africa if they be engaged as Dubai Girls. This paid off after 2 years. According to the Dubai girls, “Consistency and sheer doggedness were instrumental to the partnership.” And they have now become the cynosure of all eyes across Africa while promoting the success story and the great opportunities that await tourists and investors in Dubai.
According to the moviemakers, they are proud to be back in Dubai for yet another Dubai Girls event. The event is a continuation of The ‘Dubai Girls live Instagram session, where lucky winners from all over Africa were selected to join them to explore the beauty and the ambiance of the country.
The winners got a round trip economy flight ticket, 5 nights’ accommodation, meals, entry permit, airport transfer, and Dubai girls’ specially selected activities across the city.
According to the girls, ” If you think you have come to Dubai at one point and thinking you have seen enough, when next you come, you will see something different that will wow you.
” Dubai constantly shows you what is possible.
” Dubai is constantly growing. Dubai is innovating. So personally, anytime we come to Dubai, we want to be better and we go back thinking on what new things we can do with our brand,” Oboli responded on behalf of the girls.”
Exploring Dubai ( Desert Safari)
But a journey to the Desert Safari saw the conversion of nature to the advantage of men. A tourist yet to take a ride to the beautiful Safari located in Sharjah emirates will have to consider now. Thanks to the Dubai Girls for creating the platform for African journalists to see. Amid “fear” in excitement, the dessert ride by the orient car services was worthwhile.
Like the endless desert, we wanted an endless experience in the desert, but nothing will stay forever, only the desert will. The dinner and the theatrical displays at the local lounge got journalists thinking.
The Camels at the Safari rode off, they went home. So we all returned to the city for another nightlife experience in the prestigious 25 hours hotels.
The Dubai Mall
But this was after an amazing visit to the Dubai Mall. At the Mall, the future stood with us. Face to face, you engage technology in a beautiful conversation as light tells the story of the world in a few minutes.
The Infinity des Lumières presents two masterpieces of future-oriented and futuristic digital art.
It was a great exhibition. We all left, with the idea that light is life, and with it, everything is possible technologically. This is why Africa needs energy.
Dubai not only about the beauty of nature, tall buildings
Dubai is simply more than the architectural designs that define the city. Its people are the reasons the city is what it’s. No policemen are harassing you. The people are their police. Driving is with caution, traffic rules are perfectly observed, its people are friendly and nice. Its people protect their own. And there is no political noise disturbing the environment. No honking and no insults in the traffic.
Visit to SMCCU
A visit to Shirk Muhammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, SMCCU, put to the right perspective the culture of the Dubai Emirates. The breakfast, the interaction will linger for long. The boat cruise was a wow experience too.
