The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, will be declaring another extension of its ongoing strike.
A source who was part of the last meeting on the extension told AFRIPOST on Monday that there was no going back on the extension of their protest strike.
“Surely, we are extending the strike and this time around, it will be indefinite. Nothing is stopping us because the government is not making any attempts to resolve the pending issues,” he said.
ASUU President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke will give a briefing on the outcome of the NEC meeting.
Recall that on February 14, ASUU declared a one-month warning strike.
Since the union began the strike, all meetings aiming at ending the strike had ended in deadlocks.
