Nigeria’s Falconet will be confronting the Reds of Canada on Thursday (today) at the ongoing U-20 World Cup.
The Falconet have performed so well since the commencement of the tournament. They qualified for the quarter finals after defeating France 1:0 and Korea Republic 1:0.
Canada lost to both France and Korea Republic and are already out of the competition. Meanwhile, Nigeria will retain their leadership of the group if they defeat Canada today.
The match kicks off 3am Nigerian time.
A victory for Nigeria will see them face the runners up in Group D which has Cup holders Japan, The Netherlands, USA and Africa’s other flag bearers Ghana.
