I didn’t mean to disrespect fans – Kizz Daniel apologizes

Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has apologized to his fans in Tanzania, stating that he did not mean to disrespect them.

The Buga crooner who was meant to perform in a mega concert in the country failed to appear on stage for even a minute over the airline’s inability to bring one of his bags containing his gold chain.

But the singer was arrested after all the effort to get him to perform failed.

The show organizers had in a chat with Daddy Freeze said the artiste was heartless and may have been cursed by his village people. According to them, despite kneeling, crying and begging Kizz Daniel for about 5 hours, he made up his mind not to perform.

A voice was consequently heard in the background during his arrest that he would go in for it.

” Kizz Daniel, you will go in for it. You will go in for the damage you have done to this country. You will go in for it. I begged you.”

While apologizing to his fans, Daniel said none of what happened was intentional, but he failed to provide how unintentional his actions were.

According to him, he would not just disrespect or abandon his fans as he loves performing.

The controversial musician also called himself a great entertainer who loves his job.

He said: “I’ve been to Tanzania couple of times to chill and have fun and I love the people obviously. I apologise to my fans.

“Regardless of the press out there and information making the rounds, the show must go on. So I sat down with the promoters and there will be another show on Friday.

“Regardless of whatever news is out there, we came to an agreement to put up a show on Friday.

“I love my job, I love performing, I’m a great entertainer, none of this was intentional. I didn’t mean to disrespect the fans.”
