Nigeria women’s relay team has won the gold medals in the 4x100m event of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. With the latest win, the team has set a new record.
The team led by world record holder and 100m hurdles champion, Tobi Amusan ran 42.10secs as Personal Best (PB) and the new African record.
Those who ran with Amusan are Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Grace Nwokocha. While England came second place with a time of 42.41 secs, Jamaica finished third with a time of 43.08secs.
Nigeria has so far put up a tremendous performance in the ongoing game.
