Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment who doubles as the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has opined that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi has more experience and better positioned than the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Keyamo, spoke on Friday when he appeared on Channels TV.
According to Keyamo, Atiku has never been tested under any leadership capacity and as such can’t be trusted .He said, “How are we going to hand the country to somebody who has never held a position—who has never shown capacity where he makes the final call?
“Atiku Abubakar is not tested, he is not trusted. He has never held such a position, even Obi is ahead of him.”
The 2023 election will be majorly contested by 3 politicians in the persons of the APC’s Bola Tinubu, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
APC is the party currently in charge of the nation while PDP is the main opposition party.
However, events are begining to change with the emergence of Peter Obi and his movement tagged ‘Obe-dient’ movement.
The movement, according to political watchers has become a new nightmare to politicians in both the APC and the PDP.
