The 28-year-old Nigerian defeated her Indian opponent, Anshu Malik 7-3 (VPO1) to secure Nigeria’s first gold medal in Wrestling.
Adekuoroye came under pressure, but she later conquered.
Nigeria’s performance so far in the game is said to be impressive.
