Nigerian men’s table tennis team will battle Malaysia in the quarterfinal match of the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Nigeria emerged as the top team in Group 2 and will be facing the second-placed team in group 4 which is Malaysia.
This appears like a repetition of the 2018 edition which Nigeria won.
This time, the team is a mixture of experience and youthfulness with Quadri Aruna leading the charge for the African team.
The match is scheduled for 9:30 am on Sunday, July 31 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
Nigeria’s performance in this edition so far has been impressive as it has won some important medals in track and field events.
The country has also advanced to important stages of various games.
