 Atiku Abubakar lied about many){kind=link}
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar lied about many things in his last interview on Arise Television, especially regarding what he said about him.
Wike, who spoke on Friday morning at the Port Harcourt International Airport, said: “Thereafter he (Atiku) appeared before Arise Television, see the statements he made. So many lies were told”.
The Rivers State Governor’s failure to win the party’s presidential ticket in the just concluded PDP primary has continued to generate tension in the party. It has been speculated that Wike is planning to dump the PDP.
The governor has recently been seen with many APC chieftains which has further fueled the speculation of his journey out of the party.
Wike came second in the primary that produced Atiku Abubakar as the party’s presidential candidate. While it was recommended that Wike be picked as Atiku’s running mate, Atiku and some party leaders opted for Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.
