Nigerian Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently undergoing a medical surgery in an undisclosed hospital.This was disclosed in a terse statement by his Spokesman, Laolu Akande.
According to Akande, the the Vice President went to the hospital over a recurrent pain he had been feeling.
He said: “VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash.
“His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today,” Akande said
Since he lost the All Progressives Congress, APC, primaries to the his former boss, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osinbajo had been engaged in different official tasks including recieving a Nigerian biker into the country.
But the VP had not dropped a comment since Bola Tinubu went for a Muslim-Muslim tickets.
Osinbanjo is a Nigerian Christian from the South West.
