Seven of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack victims have been set free by the terrorists.
Malam Turkur Mamu, Media Consultant to controversial Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi who has been negotiating with the terrorists, disclosed the release of additional seven victims on Saturday.
Terrorists had more then 3 months ago attacked a train travelling from Abuja to Kaduna and abducted scores of passengers. Many were killed during that attack.
One of the demands of the terrorists was the release of their members in prison custody.
On Tuesday, July 5, 2023, terrorists stormed the medium prison in Kuje, Abuja and released over 60 of their members.
Recall that on June 12, about 11 of the victims were released.
