World Bank Group Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Anshula Kant is expected in Zambia this week for a series of meetings, the country’s finance ministry said on Monday.
The Ministry of Finance and National Planning said in a statement that the World Bank official would be in the country to hold high-level talks with the government as well as visit some of the projects funded by the bank.
The statement added that Kant would be accompanied by officials from the bank as well as officials from the International Development Assistance.
The visit comes a week after International Monetary Fund Deputy Managing Director Antoinette Sayeh visited the southern African nation for a series of meetings. (NAN)
