Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, on Monday left for France.
The presidential candidate has left for France to further his consultations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
This was disclosed by his Media Aide, Tunde Rahman, in a terse statement.
Rahman said Tinubu would hold important meetings while in the French country.
According to the statement, the APC presidential candidate is expected back in the country soon.
“He is off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings. The APC standard-bearer is expected back in the country shortly”, the statement said.
The APC presidential candidate has been under pressure over his running mate, having failed to choose his authentic running mate since he emerged his party’s candidate.
He had earlier submitted Masari’s name to the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, which the media believes was a placeholder.
Tinubu became the APC presidential candidate after winning the party’s primary which held in Abuja earlier this month.
