The gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party in Plateau State, Chief Yohanna Margif has received his Certificate of Return as the authentic flag bearer of the Party ahead of the 2023 polls.
The National Chairman of the Party, Barr. Julius Abure presented the certificate to Margif at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, witnessed by the National Executives of the Party and also Plateau State Executives led by its Chairman, Hon. Grace Zamfara.
While speaking at the presentation, the National Chairman of the Party Barr. Julius Abure said Margif is the authentic governorship candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 election in Plateau State.
He expressed confidence that Labour Party in the State will emerge victorious, saying Margif is a good candidate being a philanthropist and also a grassroots politician.
Responding, Margif who was overwhelmed with joy after receiving his certificate of return, commended the National Chairman of the Party and members of the National Executives for their commitments in sustaining, justice, equity and fairness in the Party.
Margif who said he was not surprised by the recent successes recorded in the Party disclosed that it is the set time for the lost glory of Plateau and Nigeria to be restored.
He pledged to contribute immensely and work relentlessly to ensure that the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Dr Peter Obi and other candidates of the Party win in Plateau State.
