2023: Ben Kalu pledges loyalty to Ononogbu-led Abia APC, support for party candidates

The member representing Bende Federal Constituency and the spokesman of the House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu, has appealed to members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Abia State to support every candidate of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

He made this appeal during a reconciliation meeting of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Abia State held on Saturday at Ntalakwu Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was contained in a release issued on Sunday night in Umuahia, the state capital.

Kalu who doubled as spokesperson of the House of Representatives appealed to all the aggrieved members of the party to shield their swords and work for the success of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

The APC flagbearer encouraged the party faithful to cue behind Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu-led administration in Abia State for a Progressive and prosperous party in the State, stating that APC National Working Committee ably led by Sen. Abdullahi Adamu recognizes only Dr Ononogbu-led exco.

Kalu expressed his profound gratitude to the organisers of the reconciliation committee led by the State executives, hosted by Barr. Emeka Atuma encouraged all Abians to embrace APC citing the developmental strides recorded in Abia North Senatorial District as a result of her acceptance of APC.

Those in attendance include High Chief Ikechi Emenike, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu and Abia APC executives, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Chief Emeka Nwogu, Barr. Emeka Atuma, Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, Barr. Fabian Okonkwo, Barr. Friday Nwosu, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu, Hon. Emeka Okoroafor and all the candidates of the party for the 2023 general election as well as ward and local government executives of the party.
