The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has declined to disclose the identity of his running mate until the official time to do so.
He said his choice to be vice president is in his pocketbook.
Speculations are rife in the media regarding Tinubu’s choice since his emergence as the APC candidate.
Speaking after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House on Thursday, Tinubu was asked to reveal his consideration.
“I won’t tell you that.
“That is my right, it’s in my pocketbook,” the former Governor of Lagos replied.
Tinubu, who polled 1,271 votes to defeat 13 other contenders, also praised Buhari for not “tinkering” with the presidential primary.
