Professor Yemi Osinbajo may have obtained a lifeline after a young aspirant, Felix Nicholas stepped down for him.
Nicholas said he was stepping down for Osinbajo just in the interest of the youths and to ensure that Muslim-Muslim ticket is discouraged.
Earlier, Godswill Akpabio, a former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs and presidential aspirant for the 2023 general elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has withdrawn from the race in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akpabio made the announcement at the ongoing APC National Convention of the party at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Also withdrawn from the race are Kayode Fayemi, and three others.
They all charged delegates to vote for Tinubu in national interest.
