A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has remanded Peter Nwachukwu, husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi in Kuje prison.
Justice Ngozi Nwosu-Iheme of the Wuse branch of the court ordered that Nwachukwu should remain in Kuje prison until the conclusion of his trial.
This came even after Nwachukwu pleaded not guilty to the 23-count charge brought against him.
Nwachukwu has been charged over allegations bordering on domestic violence and homicide, among others. He has been accused of killing his wife through domestic violence.
The judge granted an accelerated hearing and adjourned till June 16 for the commencement of trial.
