Peter Obi, one of the presidential aspirants under the platform of Labour Party has emerged as the presidential flag bearer of the party in the 2023 election.
Obi defeated Olushola Emmanuel-Tella to emerge as the candidate in the party’s presidential primary held in Asaba, Delta State on Monday.
The former Anambra State’s Campaign Director, Doyin Okupe disclosed this in a tweet.
”Peter Obi wins Labour Party Primaries.
”Three other aspirants including prof Pat Utomi withdrew for Peter Obi. However, voting commenced because the 4th aspirant Mrs Olushola Emmanuel-Tella stood her grounds as a contestant.”
