Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has said that anyone with valuable information that will lead to the arrest of those who killed Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, would be rewarded with 10 million Naira.
The Governor expressed shock and deep sadness over the gruesome murder of Okoye, representing Aguata II Constituency at the State House of Assembly.
Okoye who was abducted by unknown gunmen last week was found lifeless on Saturday without his body at Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
He vowed that perpetrators of the act and all criminals in Anambra will be brought to justice.
His statement read; “Governor Soludo has consequently placed a N10 million reward for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act. Anambra will soon be hell for these criminals.”
He assured Ndi Anambra of his administration’s cooperation with security agencies to fight insecurity in the state.
“Anambra will win against the forces of darkness”, he said.
