Udom stated this during a visit to solicit for votes from Niger PDP delegates at the Party secretariat in Minna.
He explained that he has solution to the challenges facing the country and the one who has the capacity to restore Nigeria’s lost glory.
According to him, “I am the solution to Nigeria’s problems. I am the man that can build bridges, bring the youths back, advocate peace and take the bandits off the forests. I am the man who can restore all the lost glory of Nigeria.”
The presidential hopeful also urged Nigerians to use his achievements as the Governor of Akwa Ibom state to access him, saying that if elected, he would replicate it at the national level.
“I have the vision, integrity, experience and track record of several achievements as Governor of Akwa Ibom State. I can replicate what I have done in my state. I am very sure that by the grace of God, if I am elected as the President, I am capable of securing the country from the insecurity of lives and property of the citizens”.
He noted that the country needs a president who can unite and secure the country as well as a person that is energetic, wise, strong and courageous.
“We must rise beyond biases and sentiments. We don’t need mediocre who only know about tribe and religion,.” the presidential aspirant stated.
The governor further disclosed that his administration would implement above the needed percentage quota for the representation of women in government.
He added, “Women will be recognized in our government. They will have a proper place in our activities. We will implement the percentage needed”.
Speaking, the Niger State PDP Chairman, Bar Tanko Beji commended the presidential aspirant and his team for visiting the state, noting that only aspirants who visit Niger will be considered during the primaries.
